I never read the news so didn’t know there was a parasitic outbreak. It causes cramping pain and auto-immune arthritis flare ups. It often causes hospitalization due to extreme dehydration and inability to keep down food. I didn’t know until I saw the headline, I’m still in shock. I probably have some time to go before I feel actually good again but the main GI symptoms are gone and I can eat again and am getting hungry.
