This time last year I was getting ready for surgery.

  • Signed up for the Space Force 10 Miler in December
  • Created a training plan with Gemini
  • I’m down to 185lbs and Carnivore
  • My new glasses arrived and I have dedicated readers and I love them so much OMG OMG
  • 7th and 8th I cleaned and cleaned / re-arranging and throwing stuff away
  • I kept having some anxiety and weird attacks, but I was reacting to sucralose I think – my system is so reactive. I keep seeing the ‘shadows’ again, like I do before I seize, but it never builds up all the way – but it’s uncomfortable.
  • Thursday is photography day so I went with Jason and we tried to find Pelicans. They’re being allusive. When we came home one flew overhead. Jason was excited because he thought he was photographing one, it was an Arctic Turn. ;-P That cracked me up.
  • Jason and I got the garden thinned out at the Community plot and I brought home the extra flowers and put them in the front bed that has been struggling.
  • Ian’s birthday was on the 8th. Jason and I agreed not to get him anything. So he got new headphones from Jason and I had bought him a leather notebook wallet with specialty pens and some Japanese supplies. ;-P I guess we lied. The guys bought cupcakes and cake from Costco – I wasn’t tempted, it looked decent.
  • Last Saturday we attended an event at Sunset Beach where they were unveiling a sculpture. It was a great ceremony and really cool. I really like the sculpture that is two salmon made from found trash on the beach.
  • We had a gale last week and three really dark days where the sun never shown and one day that the cats didn’t bother to go outside, a lot of unusual rain. I put in 13,000 steps one day but it was a little too much and I had to cut back after foot pain and exhaustion.
  • On the 10th I only got in 4,500 steps but I road my bike 7.5 miles – after the rain the pollen was intense.
  • I have made friends with the crow syndicate, but they work together to scar and thwart the cats. Wookie has a lot to say about it. Foxy the coon has been up, she had the dead bird I had put in the flower box. My flowers are going fantastic in the back. The daisies are really putting on a show. I don’t recall planting those, they came up last year but didn’t bloom – this year they’re 5′ tall+ and putting on daisy blooms the size of my hand. I’m not entirely sure what they are, a Shasta Daisy?
  • I put out a hummingbird feeder and a Grosbeak helped herself….for some reason. It was so popular that in two days I had to refill it.
  • I ordered some new clothes off Amazon, my style has changed a lot lately – it’s kinda odd honestly.
  • I made a meal plan for the house and prepped it a week or so ago and that has worked well. I cook meat and meat meals, that’s kinda just all there is to it, but each week is the same shopping list and meal list.
  • I finished the Vanderbilt audio book read by Anderson Cooper and started his book on Astor. Astor is the name sake for Astoria.
