(Postcard from Pikimin Bloom game received from Taiwan! So cool!)
I hit 10,000 steps two days in a row! I walked every single day at the park, thanks in large part to the Pikmin Bloom game (which is lowkey one of my favorite things right now).
In other physical activity news, I managed to mow two days in a row! The only problem? The middle section of the yard is still a jungle thanks to a suspicious number of rainy days and perpetually wet grass. I was trying to get it done because J’s allergies are worse than mine, and I didn’t want him to stress. Unfortunately, nature didn’t care about our plans. I really enjoy mowing but physically I’ve just been so weak and tired lately. I’m on iron pills trying to rebound.
Monday involved a pre-operative biopsy, which was… not fun. Very painful, actually. But on Thursday, I got the results — no cancer. Huge relief. I’m now waiting on insurance approval so I can schedule the surgery and move on with life.

Next door they tore down a 30 year old RV.

I studied Japanese every day this week. I’m still kind of seeing Korean on the side (just casually), but I’ve taken the pressure off myself to be perfect and that’s helped a lot. It’s just for fun, and that makes the learning actually enjoyable.
Oh, and it’s been cold. Like, confusingly cold. I’m still waiting for summer to get the memo and show up.
I’m not doing too much with diet right now. I make a big pot of home made chicken vegetable soup each week and that’s lunch and then usually a big salad for dinner. I had eggs with a little organic sausage this morning for breakfast. It’s not good / not bad as far as meals go. My weight never shifts though, I think it’s hormonal and the tumor. I lose muscle before fat these days. Meh.
