Fatigue. Dehydration. Soreness — is it time to take up ninja warrior yoga?
I was watching with much admiration at the flexibility, agility and strength of the competitors in the Japanese version (the original version) of Ninja Warrior (called Sasuke in Japan). I was wishing I could be flexible as I feel inflexible, stiff, sore, and overweight.
My running isn’t going very well.
I have a hard time catching my breath with even minimal running. I’m too heavy. I plod. My form is nonexistent and I slump. I look ill still. I look in the mirror and think, oh my God, I look so bad. I look ill.
Idk, maybe a good stretching routine would pay dividends far greater than trying to run right now.
Bad Day
Man, I just tried saving a baby possum but the cat was after it and by the time I ran outside I couldn’t find either. Possum’s don’t see well and they’re not good at evading cats from observation anyway (I don’t know maybe a guide book says they have awesome eye sight, but maybe my possums don’t idk…). Damn. It was really too small to be on its own, not sure where Haiji is, my possum friend. I heard babies under my house a week ago and was trying to identify the ‘what’ — I suppose Haiji is a Momma possum. Okay, maybe I feed Haiji scraps and am a little fond of her. Shit. I hope it’s okay. I grabbed a towel and was going to keep it in a box until tonight when Haiji came back to collect it.
Anyway, signing off. Shit.
