We had a bit of sun poke out this week and I was able to wash my car, go on some bicycle rides, walk on the treadmill, clean and organize my room, and plant some early spring tolerant flower seeds.

This week on Pikmin Bloom I was in Melon’s walk party. Melon is my favorite friend on Pikmin Bloom. Any good postcards I get I save back to send to her and she invited me for the weekly walk which was exciting because unlike usual – I could walk this time. The pain in my feet is almost gone, although I still have to wear the giant moon boot shoes for a walk, but instead of a max of 3,000 steps, I can now walk 10,000. Two days this week I hit 13,000. So from 3k to 13k — it’s a huge improvement in pain.
I had tried to add back some bell pepper, onion, garlic and some produce but my joints immediately started hurting again. So, per usual — the Costco meat run. I just eat meat. I don’t have a terribly large portion, just a bit a few times a day and I’m content. Sometimes I have a cup of ice cream and it doesn’t seem to negatively impact me much but I should probably stop. Much worse for me is any sort of plant matter. I can’t eat Kraut, I can’t eat peppers, I can’t deal with vegetables.

I walked over to the community garden this week and met up with my daughter who lives close by. The kids helped me figure out the lock, thank God, I wouldn’t have ever figured it out on my own. I’m getting to that age. Speaking of getting old I’m sitting here watching the crows gather up bread I put out for them. They’re so happy which makes me happy.
The husband had a shot at a job in Japan – well, it wasn’t just a job opportunity, he would definitely be in the top contenders. It would put us in Okinawa. He past it up, said the 120k wasn’t enough money, but honestly it’s a lot of money and it’s not a pay cut. We’re just getting older, slowing down, as unhealthy as all the other people and it’s difficult to adjust in late middle-age.
I was at Costco the other day and there was a women there with three kids wearing PJ’s, hair barely put up in a clip, grown out roots, looking tired, overweight, haggard. At first I mistook her for a grandmother, but thought, well, no, looking closely at her face I figured her for late 20’s, early 30’s. I’m really not sure. I’ve noticed this advanced aging thing happening – albeit, I normally only see people on Youtube and when I’m out shopping and I barely make eye contact…but it’s there, and this uneasiness….
I wrote two stories last week, pretty good ones. I’m trying to work on structure and pace lately. I’ve been influence a lot by watching the Tartaria channel and listening to a UFO scary story channel – the pacing is really smart. The draw out the key components a few times so they actually register instead of people glossing over one item to the next. It’s interesting. I often write funny stories, sad stories, biographical stories – but I haven’t tried scary / intriguing before.
I bought more potting soil for my bamboo as it had settled a little over the course of a year. It’s doing really fantastic though. I do water it all summer and I feed it miracle grow about once a month to try to establish it faster than the recommended five years.
Oh, what am I going to plant in the community garden? Strawberries mostly.
I have my cousin’s skin care products made – but my lip gloss didn’t quite turn out, I need to redo it. I tried cranberry and hibiscus but it looks more brown then pink. The lip gloss is 1:1 bees wax / lard, but I figured out it was going to be too hard so added some castor oil, vitamin E oil, and more lard at the end, it’s still a little too hard. I also put in a drop of vanilla.
I made split-ends hair repair cream with:
- 1:1 lard and shea butter
- almond extract for smell
- a lot of mica dust
- a little castor oil
- a little vegetable glycerine
I made my cousin some hair care moon drops with:
- Jojoba oil
- Almond Oil
- Lots of mica dust
- vanilla
Just run it through damp hair and it makes it very shiny. People don’t realize the shine is from mica. It’s nice.
I also have some arrowroot powder to make eye shadow and face powder possibly. I’ll have to work up to that. I was won out making the other products this morning.

My son goes gets his Visa papers from the embassy at some point this month or next. I keep telling him to book his airfare early, but nobody listens to me go full “Chicken Little” about the state of things. Honestly – we don’t get a lot of news I suppose, not generally. We’ve never had cable or network television. The people I typically listen to have said “energy lockdowns” were coming, maybe framed as a climate lockdown, a carbon lockdown or some other fantasy but it would be ‘stay at home and reduce your carbon’ up next. Well, that seems a little more plausible then “the straight is mined!” So – run mine sweepers. “We can’t, we just happened to decommission them!” Also the entire military of Iran was destroyed day one, but we can’t secure the straight of Hormuz, against what? Fairy hobgoblins, I don’t fucking know. But we blew up a bridge, does that get oil going again? No, why did we blow up infrastructure? To support a narrative maybe? Luckily the UK gets their oil from the North sea and Norway so they’re locked in and won’t be effected – oh, oh, they’re being asked to ration and prices are sky high. Okay…okay that makes sense. But Australia is definitely protected as they are so far away and don’t get their oil from the ….oh, oh they’re rationing too. I see, so, congress is definitely holding Trump’s feet to this and investigating how his unilateral decree got us into a very dangerous unprovoked war that is devastating to our allies right? Impeachment around the corner? Oh…oh they support it, got it. But our allies, NATO and the rest, I bet they’re so angry they’re at the UN right now threatening bloody murder if the US doesn’t get the hell out of this situation. … …no?
So honestly – this is all bullshit. I have no idea what’s going on. I suppose we’re heading for lockdowns as the radiation situation on our planet must be worse. They’re using different dispersal and compounds now in the aerial spray it appears like. When it’s sunny it’s still like you’re wearing sunglasses. How much does it cost to keep the skies overhead sprayed day after day all around the world. I wonder.
How do the normies explain the planes. The tic-tac-toe grid. No transponder codes. No ID. Large. Contrails that last all day and turn into clouds. So many bots descend upon the slightest mention of what’s happening but they always have generic ad hominem attacks and flimsy explanations of ‘how condensation works.’
They’re laughing at the peasants at this point. I loved how they launched Gemini II rocket on April Fool’s Day. Yup, it’s “flying around the moon” and we’re going to go build a base and stuff — but that too is a repeating story. What about the other lunar bases? Other years. What about the satellites in orbit around the moon? Oh, we don’t have that story anymore do we? Where did that go then?
It’s like when you’re being cheated on, and they have a certain sparkle in their eye as they lie because they know you don’t have any proof and they can tell you any old shit and they laugh at you for believing it, they think you’re weak, they think you’re a sucker. They think they control your environment so they control you, you are weaker, and they are stronger. But as soon as you know it’s a game and they are lying and nothing is what it seems, things begin to shift.
They told us over and over in media, “there is always a bigger fish.”
Still think we’re the smartest apex predator on our planet? Good time to wake up.
Back to my cats and plants.
