I’ve gone on the carnivore diet but I’m still in the adjustment phase. The last week I gave up coffee and dairy. My page about it is here.<\/a> I slept a lot this last week. It’s been raining and I haven’t been able to get out much with the storms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year I didn’t feel well enough to decorate or put up the smaller tree and the family put up the big tree for me. I couldn’t do much. This time last year there was a pitbull attack at the drug house. That girl passed away, I don’t know if it was the dog or drugs or what happened but I heard she had died. This time last year was the election. This time last year I joined the gym trying to ‘get my health back’ and that was doomed to failure. My notebook is full of seizures and lung issues. I had not had my first CT Scan this time last year, but would in December + 2 others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week I saw two F-22s doing loops over my house and that was really weird. They flew below the cloud line and they were over my house so I was able to get the binoculars and watch them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My embroidery project<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I’ve started embroidery! I used to do this a lot as a kid. I’m making a Christmas ornament and some little nonsense stuff. I need an iron though but don’t have one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In three days JJ is going to be gone on vacation – so I have to see her before then, she’s going to one of those Disney places in California. She always explains it to me but I can’t keep them straight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wookie is still having some bladder issues and allergy to litter, I’ve changed it out yet again. This time I’m trying paper and pine – she doesn’t seem to understand she can pee on it. I ordered another system coming in from Amazon, some sort of Tidy Cat rocks or something. She peed on my hat yesterday and I put it on and oh’ my, it was a terrible experience honestly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arthritis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My arthritis is really bad still. Judging by where and the how I think it’s PsA type, or Psoriatic Arthritis because it likes to get into the tip of my finger joints and it effects my achilles and PF tendons to the point I haven’t been able to walk much for the last few weeks and pretty sure I have a Calcaneal fracture on my left foot. That is to say – I can’t really get around too well, but was it two years ago I bought my cane? And I have a walker when things are quite bad. Fingers and feet are terrible but when it gets into my back it is terrifying. I hope this Carnivore diet will help. It’s different from RA (which I always got checked for) because it’s asymmetrical. I don’t know why the doctors never checked for PsA only RA. But my joints swell up and they hurt a lot and it’s pretty obvious. On my CT Scan they even remarked that I had quite bad arthritis and deterioration of joints especially my jaw, which I hadn’t known before. I guess when I feel better I’ll go have this looked after next, but primarily just going to try to manage it with diet. I would love to run again but for now walking gives me a tough time, sometimes it’s difficult to get up out of a chair and I’m only 50, it’s startling really. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
