Well, on Friday Dad was buried in the local cemetery. What started off as a to-do task on my Habitica app is finally completed. It wasn’t uh’ it wasn’t simple actually. There were quite a few steps to make it happen and I’m surprised it all came together really.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funeral completed I walked back numb, flag in hand when a jeep sped past me through a puddle splashing water up on me and the flag without a care. Well, that bad luck is on his head I reckon. Would hate to be in his shoes. Eh’ I yelled at him, but I don’t think he really understood. Not quite his fault, all there is amount the upper middle classes in Portland and Cali is a kind of clueless narcissism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve had a lot of chest tightness and trouble breathing, pain in my chest, joint problems and frankly that’s making my goals a little harder to reach. They were always extravagant goals though. Haven’t gave up on ’em, just working on it from different angles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Had a premonition and strong nudge lately. I can’t explain it really – it’s not that it makes sense but uh, well I listen to such things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big changes ahead. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do have a plan. And that plan is to finish what I started. Learn Japanese. Run a Marathon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I watched a Youtube video where they served a fried rat. Okay, okay, but they didn’t remove the head, arms or tail. Seriously wondering….you couldn’t even cut off the tail? Nobody is going to eat a rat tail. I’ve eaten a few squirrels but they had the head and tail cut off and they were properly done up, lol, a bit dry though and quite tough. I imagine a rodent like a rat is probably a bit similar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, I guess that’s the sort of thing Dad and I would have discussed — why not skin the rodent out properly? What’s with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suppose I should end with a story about Dad, he would like the cemetery and be kinda impressed I pulled that all off I suppose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess I have yet another ghost to talk to. He probably checked out at the right time as things are about to get … rough here. Really rough, that’s what my gut tells me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
