I’ve been spending around 3 hours most days studying Korean. This weeks quest has been learning the alphabet and sounds each letter makes. ( Insert excuse on why I suck) … anyway…. it has been enjoyable learning. I am reading a couple of books right now that were featured in class and watching a great K-Drama from the K-Drama club recommendation list Military Prosecutor Doberman, ( Do Bae Man is his name) — show has an awesome soundtrack and a lot of twists and turns. I’ve really enjoyed it. I need to get back to my other dramas after I finish this one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I planted a wide variety of Halloween pumpkins and I really hope something comes up. Planting a little late but maybe they will be around for November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was very sick with a GI issue for two weeks. I could barely eat anything. It would come out one way or the other and my stomach always hurt and my back. I still worked out though and I just was careful about eating. I’m doing better today. I think I should eat in a more Asian way. They don’t eat much. That’s a good idea if you can’t digest food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week I was on a run or bike ride — anyway, a tourist said this wasn’t a forest. ???<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I absolutely love running but I’m too heavy. I have gout. It is difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really love thistles – but I think maybe I will plant artichokes, the giant thistle with the pay off of a food item. I’ve never eaten one, but I guess some people like them. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I added water to my garden and all the elk came up. They had two babies with them. They did a lot of damage but that’s kinda baked into the cake of my flower garden. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Did I mention I signed up for a Half Marathon in November? November 10. I better get ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiked up the jetty and ended with a two mile run along the road. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fent and drugs are really bad again this year. A squatter is living in the trailer across the way. He has a pitbull the size of a bear and it wear a heavy mussel and harness and is quite a monster. I mention this because a guy was smoking heroin or fent pills on top of this jetty the day I was there. I’m not sure if the tourists notice or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In America we all just seem to be declining to being the summation of our vices and addictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, I will strive to do better. Be less lazy and little bit by little bit improve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
