Sometimes I really miss sugar and forget that it has any downsides. Occasionally I even convince myself of the benefits of having sugar in my diet, &#8220;will be easily digested!&#8221;  or &#8220;you deserve to treat yourself, you&#8217;ve had a busy \/ hard \/ stressful day.&#8221;  etc. etc.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My energy has picked up a bit as I&#8217;ve been supplementing &#8216;GREEN DRINK&#8217; and magnesium.  I&#8217;m sleeping better now and not napping or feeling run down all day.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"468\" height=\"579\" src=\"https:\/\/www.merwanjeeframjee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/poutou-april.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-115\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.merwanjeeframjee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/poutou-april.png 468w, https:\/\/www.merwanjeeframjee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/poutou-april-242x300.png 242w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Green Drink<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>1\/4 teaspoon of Alfalfa (important)<\/li><li>1\/2 teaspoon of Spirulina (important)<\/li><li>N-A-G (important if you have GI issues) 1\/4 teaspoon<\/li><li>CALM brand Magnesium 1 teaspoon <\/li><li>ginger (optional) a dash<\/li><li>1\/4 cup of fruit juice or water to mix it up<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>My diet has mainly been eggs, chicken, rice, coffee  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weight has been stable around 180 for a couple of weeks now, at first I lost quite a bit of weight.  My blood sugar remains high.  I am mid-colitis attack (again) but the swift supplementation, boiled ginger water, L-Glutamine, N-A-G, Slippery Elm, Aloe Vera, Marshmallow Root, Vitamins, Fish Oil &#8212; headed it off at the pass.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was having some sugar-free chocolates.  With the colitis* I don&#8217;t dare upset my GI, my intestines are inflamed and not working right so &#8230; well, no sweets.  I&#8217;ve had some Stevia but my throat is sore and it looks like my thyroid is swollen.  I will skip that from now on as well.  This will narrow the diet even more.  Soon it&#8217;s honestly going to be just eggs, white rice, cheese, chicken and some seasonings.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve felt like exercising more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*self-diagnosed diverticulitis, I get a sharp pain in my left lower abdomen along with general crampy pain all through my lower abdomen and bladder pain.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a really long month without sugar.
