SLIMFAST PLAN 2026 WINTER:
Shakes, Exercise, Low-Fat, One real meal per day
Starting weight: 186lbs
+ painful feet
+ Trouble sleeping
+ Seizures (still)
+ low energy
+ trouble concentrating
I want to go back to Japan. I need to lose 50lbs. From my other dietary experiments I know the following:
- I need extra anti-oxidants they directly effect seizure activity
- If I take magnesium I crave calcium
- I get gastroparesis if I eat too much fat / protein
- Grains make me sleepy and I react to a lot of different foods
- I crave ice cream and have been using it like a protein shake, so am going to try real protein shake (whey isolate, plain premium brand no Stevia or sucralose) but — I tend to have heartburn and stomach issues so
- Add a little N-A-G and slippery elm once in awhile
- Keep Zantac on hand
- Use Protein Shakes after exercise.
- Could use it with rice milk, make a coffee shake?
- K2 solves a lot of my seizure issues and makes my brain quiet down but I don’t know why. I don’t know what causes the noise so I need to chart my food and symptoms for a month or two.
- Low-Fat… that’s the plan, I still haven’t transitioned back to low-fat but I definitely don’t digest it well.
- Shake – Shake – Meal

Post Carnivore – Glucose 30 Points Down
So why did a low-carb diet spike my glucose so high and keep it there? Possibilities:

- I ate too much protein (but I couldn’t digest it properly so kept cutting back)
- I ate too often (I did do slightly better OMAD – but I can’t eat much at one time so was hungry a lot)
- I had too many sugar free treats and Diet Coke, I did have a three week phase where I had a few of these and it definitely worsened my glucose tremendously.
- I can’t digest fat because of my gallbladder and have a damaged stomach so developed gastroparesis really bad on a high fat / high protein diet so my sugar was always elevated and I had a tremendous amount of inflammation…this one.

2026 Exercise & Low Fat
- Bad FEET. Going Tuesday to get my left foot x-rayed, it can’t take much walking. My doctor thinks it may be Achilles Tendonitis, I think it’s arthritis – but proof is in the x-ray. Both feet hurt, a lot.
- Cardio? ROWING – using the rower. I also have a spin bike I plan to use.
- Video for weight training
- Daily Yoga, I’ve been doing Yin Yoga where poses are held longer and I like it. It’s easy enough I can do.
- Gardening / Cycling / OUTDOORS — when the weather is okay. I have a garden plot in the community garden and plan to cycle there and work on my garden bed. (I wish I could tell my Dad about the garden plot and plan it out with him.).

to be continued….
