This week I decorated for Chinese Lunar New Year and went outside on the sunny days as much as I could. Sun and decorating, that’s a good time.
I am still fighting fatigue and some GI issues but not as bad as last week but I didn’t get to go anywhere fun (boo) – I’ve been so bored this winter.
My elderly orange cat has diabetes so I am being more careful with his food and making sure it’s high protein and low fat and hopefully very low to no carbs. He’s a stinky mess so I gave him a bath on Tuesday. I was really scared of him because he is unpredictable and in his hay day I would never have dared try to bathe him. He felt so much better afterwards and went out and laid in the sunshine. He’s doing better this week. I add water to his fish so he gets enough liquid, it’s hard for him to stay hydrated. He has some sores on his foot pads I need to look after, it’s difficult with cats because they groom and lick off the medication.

I saw a river otter at Swash! I was really excited. I took a long bike ride on my birthday, but really my birthday bummed me out this year. I was hoping I would get to see my kids, maybe go out for coffee, maybe go walking with them.
I took a couple of long walks. I ordered some Sketchers from Zappos for $60 with the big thick heal. I have so much pain in my feet. I hope they will help me take more walks and longer walks / care and feeding of Pikmin depends upon it!
Chinese Lunar New Year is the 17th this year. Year of the horse.
